Has anyone seen the ridiculos "FlyBoys"? what do you think of it?
This movie has SOOO many dumbed(?) down movie items it is scary. Three(3) all red German triplanes(there was only one, the Red Barons and it is still debated if the A/C was, in fact "all red"), the use of Camels by the US Vol. group (they used both Nieuports and Spads) and a Black pilot in the unit (unheard of in WW1, I know, not PC!). along with the ridiculous Zeppelin scene, and idiot script, what a waste. Especially since the Nieuports were built for the movie, and were for sale recently! This movie makes the original "layfette escradrille"(sic) movie of the 1950's, with Tab hunter a bona fide Historical documentary.
I know what you mean but I'm still going to see it....I always do!
