Installing a new car radio will steering wheel controls still work?

I own a 2005 Nissan Altima which still has the factory installed system. I want to install a new radio/cd player capable of playing MP3's. I have some questions;
1. Can I do this without replacing the speakers?
2. Will the controls I have on my steering wheel still work volume/next track?
3. I bought this car used from a new car dealer and have a 3 year warranty. Will doing this void my warranty?

Thanks

1. Yes. All speakers are compadible.

2. No. 1st you must find a deck (stereo) that is wheel contol compadible. The easyest way to do this is to go to a site like Crutchfield.com and enter in your car (this doesn't mean you have to buy from them, its just a good search tool) . The sites search engine will lead you to hundreds of stereos that are compadible. When you find one your interested in click on it, make sure you read the features and specifications section. In this section you will see all the features listed out for that unit. You will see a line that says steering wheel compadible, Yes or NO. You want a unit thats steering wheel compadible ie. YES. Now just because its compadible doesn't mean its just plug and play. You must also purchase a steering wheel adapter unit (fairly cheap) from Pacific Audio COrp. (http://www.pac-audio.com/) this thing simply plugs into your deck so your Nissan can essentially communicate with your new stereo. The only downside to whole system is theres sort of a delay on the control device, just a second or more, so when you hit the button on your wheel it will take a second to react on the new unit. Just depends on what you can live with.

3. This will void the warranty on your stereo only.

With rapturous romanticism and over-the-top, heart-on-sleeve emotion, Matt Nathanson can't decide whether he wants to be U2's Bono (particularly on the opening "Car Crash") or John Mayer (with whom he's toured as an opening act). Though his roots are in the folk coffeehouse, he plainly has his ears aimed toward the rock arena, as the propulsive "To the Beat of Our Noisy Hearts" and "Detroit Waves"...
