Super-trader Trait #1: Acceptance of Losses and Losing
I've been following the path of being a trader, not just any old trader and not the path of just being a 'Financial Trader' either (which is still held in high stead) but of a 'Super-Trader!'
Yes, ultimately, my dream goal and wish is to reach 'Super-Trader' status!
Since following this path for the last 10 years or so, it is only now that I'm beginning to understand what being a 'Super-Trader' means to me.
I've made my mistakes, I've made money from trading and I've lost money from trading. My losses were down to not following some very simple 'Financial Trading Rules.' Simple but not always easy.
What does it mean to be a 'Super-Trader' you might ask?
It means having the ability to earn not hundreds, not thousands but millions of pounds (sterling)/dollars by being able to command your earnings through controlling your emotions in the world of 'Financial Trading.'
But it also means being able to bounce back from your trading mistakes by learning from them.
Now since you'll be doing this for yourself, you'll be in control of your life, in control of your destiny!
Let's begin: There are 11 'Super-Trader Traits' that I have learned from 'Jack D. Schwager Author (Investment Manager) Of Market Wizards, New Market Wizards, Stock Market Wizards, and Getting Started in Technical Analysis all otherwise known as the Wizard Book Series.
And what I have realised over the course of time with regards to my own trading, business and daily living (on a personal level), I shall be sharing with you.
When you get to the end of this message, you'll see some pretty powerful and bold affirmations I came up with, to help with my belief in my trading and business system. Please feel free to use them, not only for your trading goals but for your life's monetary goals.
If you can attain the figure at the bottom of this message, what would it mean to you and how might it change you life?
I have achieved those figures in another line of business and after many years of doing this for someone else I thought: "Why can't I achieve the same goals with my trading?"
Let's go for it! What other business will bring such profits and independence as this? 'Trading For A Living.'
Once you can get, not only your head - but more importantly your mind around the 'Super-Trader Trait' 'Acceptance Of Losses & Losing,' that winning feeling will often elude you.
I have now come to the realisation in my trading that I am not prepared to execute that trade unless I can 'see' that there is - and there will be, a high probability of me achieving my points in that trade.
Although I am studying and applying Super-Trader Trait #1, I am applying it with the 'Confidence' of winning (which happens to be Super-Trader Trait #2).
We'll cover each 'Super-Trader Trait,' one at a time.
What if you knew you could not lose or fail at anything you did, I mean anything! Then what would you do?
What if you knew that what you lost was only a small fraction of what you would gain, then what would you get (and be) involved in?
Do you ever sacrifice one early nights sleep for a later one? I do from time to time.
Do you ever give in; in certain difficult situations, which do not warrant your 'valuable' energy in order to save your 'valuable' energy and effort from time to time? I do, often.
You did you understand that didn't you? 
Do you ever make sacrifices which at the time might seem to be of enormous proportions for the betterment of another simpler situation from time to time? I do.
It's not always mentally or (at times) physically comfortable to do the above but when we do it, it often saves a lot of grief or hardship one might otherwise of faced had you not 'cut your losses.'

This is what I have realised with trading...
...'Acceptance Of Losses & Losing' does not apply to trading alone but to our whole lives.
Have a look at your life and look at the relationship of your life to the relationship of the 'Super-Trader Traits.'
Remove the word 'Trading' (mentally) where it lies in any of the 11 traits and replace it with another goal or passion in your life and see what happens with you and your thoughts.
