or other eastern european agencies( russia,romania,czech republic,poland) if u're asian or african?i've noticed most of the models seem to be carbon copies of one another-y'know,pale blonde hair,plae blue eyes,pale white skin,fixed junkie stare?They don't seem to have much variety unlike other elite agencies around the world
Agencies will sign models who have the look their clients want. If they don't have a lot of clients in Ukraine requesting models who are darker skinned, they will not bother signing or investing in darker skinned models. Remember, it costs an agency a lot of money to bring on a new face - they need to pay for photographers to shoot their portfolios and comp cards, makeup artists, hair and clothing stylists to work on the photo shoots, coaches to help the model with his/her walk. An agency is only willing to spend this money if they are confident they will be able to make it back and more by booking that model on a job.
If a lot of clients start requesting more exotic models, you can be sure they would be on the lookout for new darker skinned models
