is it possible to make proto type aeroplane in home itself ?
I want to make a proto aeroplane model using 1.thermocoal body, 2.thick paper or cardboard wings (Horizontal, Vertical, Flaps, slats etc.,) with corresponding angle 3.small motor as a propeller in wings and 4.small plastic tyres. Whether it can fly ? (Note : I know the concept of aeroplane design, and i want to assemble those things by myself only.) Anybody please give some tips on that (i.e, material, assembly or design etc.,) and also tell me how the remote can be apply to fly. Thanx in advance.. my dear friends.
Yese you can fly a model, but most critical thing is design and then balance, you can copy design from any plan or scale down or can create yourself if you know aerodynamics, second thing is power & weight, check the power of your motors & weight of battery, RC kit, servos Etc and then balance your CL & CG, CG is center of gravity & CL is center of lift it is normally on the mid cord line of wing, these two points should be in a line vertcally.your motor+propeller should have give enought thrust for drag the plane and your wings should have enough lift to lift the weight.
