I just got bitten by a weird bug and I'm freaking out!?
It was a weird looking bug. I felt like a small prick in my back that is not occasionally a shooting pain throughout my back. I turned and saw the bug. It was like a red colored mini dragonfly type thing. Anybody know if this is poisonous or something? If it helps, I live in Connecticut.
Do you know where the bug is at now? You might try getting a picture of it if you don't want to get near it. Also, you might try to catch it in a jar with holes (for air) in the top. Take it to a dr. You have a better chance of knowing what has bitten you and if you are in any danger. I'm not familiar with the bug but red is usually a color signaling danger. It could just be a bug copying that color for it's own benefit as well. You are probably fine but it's best to follow through and get as much information as possible for your own peace of mind.
