Excellence Starts With Saab 9000 Parts
Established in 1973, Saab was originally an aviation and defense company in Sweden. SAAB stood for "Svenska Aeroplan Aktiebolaget"—the company’s Swedish name which means Swedish Aeroplane Limited. In the 1990s, the company changed its name to Saab AB after it was acquired by a new owner. Because of its background in aircrafts, Saab automobiles are renowned for their reliability and exceptionally high standards for safety. Saab 92001, the first automobile model by the company was developed in 1947. Some of the other models that propelled the brand to success include the Saab 9-3, the Saab 9-5, Saab 900 and the Saab 9000. Styled by the Italian automobile designer Giorgetto Giugiaro, the Saab 900 came out to be significantly different from its predecessors. As it was based on the same chassis that Lancia Thema, Fiat Croma, and Alfa Romeo 164 had, the Saab 9000 parts spelled out the difference.
Originally introduced as a five-door hatchback in 1985, the Saab 9000 had an extremely sophisticated design that featured a sporty rear spoiler and a curvy bonnet. The early Saab 900 parts also included a water-cooled DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder 1985 cc engine. Capable of producing a powerful 175 horsepower, the Saab 9000 engine was equipped with a turbocharger. It also had an impressive load-lugging capacity because of the estate/saloon opening rear hatch and the folding rear seat combination. Aside from the Rolls Royce, the Saab 9000 was the only imported car classified as a large car by the United States authorities.
Although only 400 Saab 9000 units of the 1998 model were exported to the United States, the car was, as one critic put it, quite simply, well-rounded, gloriously capable and more user-friendly than its predecessors. The Saab 9000 parts made the car to be the fastest in its class of general production-line sedan and took for it the distinction of having the highest US safety rating. It was the last of the series, but various shops for auto parts online still offer components for this cherished luxury. Such limited indulgence deserves only the most reliable replacement parts. There is simply no argument; the Saab 9000 parts did it all for this legend.
