How to fly a gas powered model airplane? (See details below)?
I got a Hobbico N226LK from a friend and I don't know how to fly it. I don't know if I have everything. I don't know how to start the engine. If anyone has one of these planes, please let me know how to do it.

Many options here:
The best one is to find a "flying club" in your area. Usually there are mentors to help newbies like you. Some do charge a nominal fee for "training hours" but it is worth it. It is very easy to crash on your first flight and destroy the plane (yes I have had experience with this approach).

When I used to fly models as a kid tower was my best source and they still seem to be committed to the sport.
Fly the simulator first!
There are free versions that you hook to your existing remote (this is what I use) and commercial versions like from Great Planes which is supposed to be really good.
And be careful. On all of the websites you can see horror stories of people getting injured and yes killed by these "toys".
I got back into models with my son a few years ago and switch to Foam/electric models. more fun and less work! Might be something to think about.
