Is there a high school with a good Radio/Television/Film program?
We we live there is an EXCELLENT school with a performing arts emphasis, but my son likes to be behind the scenes -- doing sound or running the camera or scripting the story, etc. And the performing art schools don't have a program for this. They dance, draw, sing, play music, or act. They don't do the technical production.
Are there any good high schools in the USA with specialty programs for kids interested in RTF careers?
Locally, we have a school called Buckingham Charter Magnet High School in Vacaville, CA. They offer full college prep as well as an emphasis on RTF, including their own film production company and international film festival.
P.S. They are the best school around this area and have a waiting list.
